There is a possibility of the Esteem Cup, exclusive for Maruti Esteems, to run as a standalone event concurrently with the 2016 Indian National Rally Championship / Indian Rally Championship (INRC/ IRC). Entries will close on June 8.
“We are ready to include the Esteem Cup as a standalone cup if we get at least 10 confirmed entries by June 8,” said Mr Ashwin Pandit, chairman, FMSCI’s 4W Rally Committee.
“We are not charging registration fees for the championship. But to ensure that we have confirmed entries, we shall take registration of Rs. 15,000 as deposit from each Esteem entry. The deposit will be adjusted against the entry fees of the first three events at Rs. 5,000 per event.”
