Sneha, aged 27, was the only Indian driver in the championship, drove a Proton Saga for Team DV Motorsport in a grid of 70 cars divided into 4 categories – Pro, Advanced, Intermediate and Casual.

Sneha clocked a best time o  2.57.4 and was classified for the Advanced category which is an achievement by itself and crossed the line 1st in Race 1 and 2nd in Race 2 for the Ladies Cup Championship (overall 2nd) and 6th in the overall Advanced category.

“It was my first international win it felt great to be able to compete and stand on the podium. More important than the win, driving the races back to back, the wheel to wheel action until the chequered flag dropped was fun too. I over took 2 cars just before the finish line. So i am looking forward to a lot more racing abroad” commented Sneha Sharma.

“It is a fun car but requires a lot of skill to drive, we also had some gear box issues with the car but the team (DV Motorsport) did a wonderful job to help us get 1 and 2 in both races” she added.

The next round of MSF series is schedule to happen on the 14th of April 2017, and she is looking forward to be there.
