There is a possibility of the Gypsy Cup, exclusive for Maruti Gypsys, to run as a standalone event concurrently with the 2016 Indian National Rally Championship / Indian Rally Championship (INRC/ IRC).
“We are ready to include the Gypsy Cup as a standalone cup if we get at least 10 confirmed entries in INRC/IRC by the end of May, 2016,” said Mr Ashwin Pandit, chairman, FMSCI’s 4W Rally Committee.
“We are not charging any registration fees for the championship. But to ensure that we have confirmed entries, we shall take registration of Rs. 15000 as deposit from each Gypsy entry. The deposit will be adjusted against the entry fees of the first three events at Rs. 5,000 per event.”
