Ricky Donison of BPC Racing set the tempo in the opening round of the 2016 JK Tyre FMSCI National Rotax Max Karting Championship in Bengaluru on Sunday (June 5) after turning in a flawless performance over the weekend in the Senior Max (above 15 years) category.

A release from the organisers said defending champion Donison kept extending the gap between him and the chasing pack to win the final at the Meco Kartopia track after previously winning both the heats and pre-final. Ameya Bafna (Rayo Racing) and Nayan Chatterjee (Meco Racing) finished second and third respectively in both the final and pre-final.
